Filmed during periods of time spent in Granada province, Andalucia, this epistolary film is a rumination on the idea of the South… that fluid landscape from where myths, wind, landless people and mysteries flow. Timeless places – from the valleys of Las Alpujarras, the backstreets of the Albaicin and Sacromonte, to the coastline where Africa meets Europe – take on new meanings as a young woman’s letters challenge the things that she has learnt and those she is coming to know.
