Daybreak Films has produced and directed a number of acclaimed film, video and music videos. Our films include theatrical documentary murundak - songs of freedom (2011, 92mins), and feature documentary Words from the City (2007, 90 mins; nominated for five awards in the 2007 AFI Awards), and feature concert film The Time The Place (2008, 118 mins); short dramas including the multi-award winning Love This Time (2006, 18 mins), and made for broadcast documentaries including the Contemporary Poets series for ABC Arts (2006, 4 x 4 min); and Muscle (2008, 26 mins, winner of ADG Award for best direction) and Skin (2008, 26 mins, winner of best documentary, World Wide Short Film Festival) produced by Big and Little Films and commissioned by ABC Artsscape for the series Anatomy. Projects in production and development include Galore (95 mins, feature drama; scheduled to shoot in March, 2011), Fatherland (90 mins, feature drama), and Undertow (100mins, feature drama). |
