Featuring Redfern hip hop crew RBL, this film clip emerged from a community programme based at Redfern youth centre, The Settlement. Made with the collaboration of the residents of The Block after a spate of negative publicity, this clip – a joyful celebration of life in and around this inner city community – went on to win best music video at the St Kilda Short Film Festival in 2005 and featured on ABC’s ‘Message Stick’.
