Adelaide Film Festival Premiere

Words from the City directed by Natasha Gadd and Rhys Graham and produced by Philippa Campey for Film Camp will World Premiere on March 2nd as part of the Adelaide Film Festival. Tickets can still be purchased for the screening online and a small additional fee provides entry to the after party featuring performances from some of the artists featured in Words from the City. We''ll be posting additional materials on the site soon and keep your eyes on www.wordsfromthecity.com for a soon to be live site promoting the film.
Undertow, a feature film written by Natasha Gadd recently received development funding through Film Victoria. Galore, a feature film written by Rhys Graham also received development funding through AFC''s Indivision Strand – a project lab in which the script was developed with Mogens Rukov (writer of Festen), Andrew Bovell (Head On, Lantana) and Paul Mezey (producer Maria Full of Grace, Half Nelson). More news on both projects will be forthcoming.
Daybreak Films has also been commissioned to create several short pieces for ABC TV on Australian Poets including Dorothy Porter, Barry Hill and street poet and MC, Joel Ma. These will be shown episodically on the network in the coming months.
Firestorm a short 16mm film directed by Rhys Graham is currently showing in a gallery loop at the Gertrude Contemporary Art Space, 200 Gertrude St, Fitzroy, Melbourne, as part of the exhibition ''40 degrees''. The exhibition, is showing from 2nd February to the 24th February.
